Steven started working with us on a temporary contract at the beginning of the 2020 covid 19 pandemic and went on to our Modern Apprenticeship programme.
He is now part of the Redeem Exchange Team, supporting the project leader as much as possible.

We invited her to stay with us and take part in the Modern Apprenticship Programme.

Nicole enjoys spending time (and spoiling) her nieces.

Eddie

Warehouse manager

Eddie is our newest member of the TRI team  and already invaluable by ensuring we have everything we need at the right place and on time.
Eddie enjoys spending time with his wife and their 3 grandchildren.  He also looks forward to travelling and holidays.

Trev

Trev

CEO - Founder

Trev is  a Co-founder of Trade Right International.
After working in the international charity sector for many years, he has seen first-hand that the Western response to needs of Africa often hurts more than it helps.

Trade Right International is an attempt to collaborate with individuals and communities with needs in a different way.
Creating a complete and sustainable chain from source to market and then returning surplus profit back to the source seemed like the obvious solution.

As CEO, Trev sees that he’s a ‘jack of all trades’ and is as comfortable thinking through strategy as he is packing boxes

Denice

Denice

Co-Founder / Director: Research, Development & Innovation

Denice enjoys a creative role as part of her responsibilities as a director of Trade Right International.
With a background in  pastoral care as well as art, design and technology she's used these skills in a variety of ways, from youth work to teaching young adults with learning difficulties in an agricultural colllege; from exhibition design in huge venues to creating fine jewellery, modern millinery and beautiful bridal headdresses.
Seeing the women in Ghana living in poverty and at the whim of global markets highlighted for Denice the need for creating a sustainable, secure and supportive market.
Denice and Trev have 3 children and 5 grandchildren and enjoy spending lots of time with them.

Rob

Rob

Director

Rob is a director for Trade Right International and also Chairman of the Trade Right Trust Board.

His background has been in operations management, where he has over 20 years experience.

He initially became involved with Trade Right International  following a visit to northern Ghana in 2010, where the plight of the very poor families convinced him of the need to bring about change. The concept of a complete product chain from Ghana to the UK, helping people in both countries to earn a living wage through the production of ethically sound cosmetic products, is the motive for  supporting this amazing adventure.
Married to Helen, they have three children and six very lively grandsons.

Thompson is also responsible for the logistics of getting shea butter from northern Ghana to Akkra in the south and then through the ports to it’s final destination.
Thompson is Trade Right InternationaI’s right-hand man in Ghana.
